Define Your Unique Fashion Sense

Everyone has his or her own sense of style. Some people prefer to stick to the basic solid color t-shirts, jeans, and non-descript jackets with subtle Spy sunglasses. Wearing the latest and the greatest is not their modus operandi; instead, they enjoy wearing clothes that fit, are comfortable, and are not flashy. However, people on the other side of the spectrum love to go all out. Fashion and dedication to the newest designs is what makes them happy. They always make sure to stand out in the crowd and wear pieces that are attention grabbing and awe inducing.

Most of us cannot afford to be this latter person even if we wanted to. Fashion is considered as highbrow as great art; each item is unique and therefore can command a much higher price than any piece of clothing you can find hanging on a rack. Nevertheless, people work hard to achieve a reputation of only wearing top-of-the-line designer wear.

If you are someone who feels pressure to dress more fashionable but simply cannot afford it, do not worry! You can adopt many tricks that make you look and feel more stylish without forcing you to empty your pocketbook.

1) You only need to focus your outfit around one standout accessory. This accessory is not necessarily the flashiest piece, it just needs to make a statement and be noticeable. I would suggest a Coach handbag or Chanel sunglasses. Both match several styles of outfits and, if you aim to buy these items online, you can often find reasonable prices!

2) Carry yourself with confidence. If you feel comfortable in your own skin and wearing the clothes that you like, then everyone will notice. A person with confidence is always more attractive than a person who is extremely insecure. Confidence is only a piece of the puzzle, however, and you want to do everything to avoid appearing over-confident. If you are comfortable with who you are, it will shine through and you will look great.

3) Instead of focusing your look around your outfit, try a new hairstyle or make-up routine. Experiment with different looks, and accessories like glasses to find the one that is best for you. It will be extremely fun and everyone will look forward to what you come up with next!
